Grade 2

Hello! My name is Miss Terrefe (soon to be Mrs. Negussie) and I am new to ASFS! I was born and raised in Columbus, Ohio. I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education at The Ohio State University (GO BUCKS!!). I earned my Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Ashland University. Fun fact about me – I have lived in 4 different states! I taught Kindergarten in San Francisco, CA, First grade in Columbus, OH and Third grade in Dallas, TX. This will be my 9th year of teaching but my first year teaching second grade and I am thrilled to be here!

Hello Lightning Bolts! My name is Michaela Colarossi and I am so excited to be joining the ASFS community as a second grade teacher this year! This will be my 5th year teaching elementary school. I graduated from JMU in 2018 with degrees in both Education and Spanish. In 2019, I received my Master’s in Education from JMU. Go Dukes! I’m originally from Massachusetts and love to cheer on the Patriots, Red Sox, and Bruins. I also love to exercise, read, and explore the DMV area with friends. I look forward to getting to know you and your family this school year!
