Hi ASFS!  My name is Cassi Leonard and I am excited to be here, working and learning with you!  I graduated from James Madison University with my Master’s in Education in 2008, and have enjoyed being a classroom teacher ever since.   My absolute favorite thing to do in the classroom is a read aloud – especially if it’s a Mo Willems book!  I live in Arlington with my husband, my 5 year old son Graydon, my 10 month old son Bode, and my pet cat Thor.  I enjoy reading, being outside, cooking, and trying new restaurants.

Hello Lightning Bolts! My name is Michaela Colarossi and I am so excited to be joining the ASFS community as a second grade teacher this year! This will be my 5th year teaching elementary school. I graduated from JMU in 2018 with degrees in both Education and Spanish. In 2019, I received my Master’s in Education from JMU. Go Dukes! I’m originally from Massachusetts and love to cheer on the Patriots, Red Sox, and Bruins. I also love to exercise, read, and explore the DMV area with friends. I look forward to getting to know you and your family this school year!
